COMPETITION DETAILS
Gold Coast Hockey Association offers diverse competitions catering to various ages and skill levels. Our Joeys program is tailored for children aged 5 and above. As kids approach the age of 9, competitive play beings. We host age-group competitions that extend ip Open levels, accommodating beginners, intermediate and advanced players.
Venues: Games take place at both the Gold Coast Hockey facility situated at Keith Hunt Park and the Runaway Bay

The 2024 season will commence on the weekend commencing March 2024.

Junior Competitions
Joeys - Ages 3 – 9
The Joeys program offers young boys and girls a chance to learn hockey's fundamental skills, develop motor abilities, and forge friendships, all while igniting their enduring passion for the sport!
Session run every Saturday morning from 9:00am to 10:30am.

Under 12 Mixed
This exhilarating competition invites participants to join a trilling mixed-gender competition held on Saturday mornings. The carefully planning schedule offers matches filled with excitement and camaraderie, running from the early hours of 7:30am to 10:30am, providing an engaging and action-packed start to the weekend for all involved.
Under 14
U14 features a vibrant Boys and Girls competition held on Saturday mornings, offering a platform of both genders to participate. The games are thoughtfully scheduled, running from 9:00am to 1:00pm, providing an extended and engaging experience for all participants.
Open
This captivating competition caters to individuals under 18 years or those still on school, fostering an inclusive environment for both boys and girls. The competition takes place on lively Friday nights, creating an eclectic atmosphere from 5.30pm to 9:00pm, offering an exciting after-school activity for budding athletes.
Senior Competitions
At Gold Coast Hockey, our vibrant senior competition caters to various skill levels, planning from Division 1 to Division 4. Whether you're an experienced player or new to the sport, our affiliated clubs are eager to welcome you.
Divisions 3&4 Women's and Divisions 3 Men's competitions take place on Saturdays, featuring games scheduled from 1:00pm to 8:30pm.
