The Gold Coast U18 men had a successful representative season.
The team won coulter shield earlier in the year.
At the state championships held in Townsville the team won all 3 pool games, and then beat Tweed in the crossovers. This put the team into the final against Brisbane 2. Starting well with a goal in the 6th minute off the first Penalty corner of the game. The guys continued putting on the pressure and went into half time 3 up. The start of the second half followed on as the first half, with goals in the 39th, 40th, 44th and 58th minutes. Brisbane had no answer to the determination and skill off all the 14 players from the Gold Coast. The Gold Coast boys finished with a 7 - 3 win.
Congratulations and now the team goes back up to Div 1 next year.
