Update on GCHA Redevelopment

GCHA will provide regular post information/photos of the works happening at the GCHA Centre in the lead up to the Commonwealth Games.

1.Next week the car park will not be accessible to any players/visitors. The gates behind the hockey house will be open for parking. Please ensure that you do not park on the grass field being prepared for the junior competition. Do not remove any barriers places around the site.

2. The site fencing on the south end of the GCHA field will have a ply fence built on the inside face of the block wall. Opening in hording will allow cannon to operate.

3. Two light poles need to be relocated for building works. These are the two at the southern end of the field in construction area. Its been agreed to  relocate pole closest to clubhouse to the paved area, to the side of the south dugout, inside the wall of the field. Padding will be placed around any sharp edges. Cnr pole to shift around to the end cnr of the field. This is a temporary solution but will most likely be this way for the 2016 season. A lux audit will occur to ensure we are no worse off from lighting levels once lights are moved.
