U12 Schools State Championships

The U12 South Coast Schools boys & girls teams traveled to the Sunshine Coast for this years state championships in what was less than ideal weather conditions. Battling the weather all weekend the boys finished a very creditable 3rd whilst the the girls toughed it out to finish 5th. For only the 5th time in 16 years the boys won the Kaizam Shield, contested between the most northern and southern teams, a very gutsy effort boys.
 
A huge congratulations to Liam Van Twest, Charlotte Fowler and Ivy Matthews who were all selected to represent Queensland in the national championships. Great effort and very well deserved.
