GCHA players named in Futuroos Squads & Youth Olympic

GCHA wish to acknowledge the following players:

Casey Dolkens
Dayle Dolkens
Jun Sugio  who have been named in the Hockey Australia 2018 Futuroo Squads.

The program is aimed at developing 16-18 year old athletes through providing camps and competitions against a number of countries including New Zealand, Japan, India and South Africa.  

This program gives the selected athletes international hockey experience as they continue their development towards the Burras and Jillaroos Junior National Team and then eventually the Kookaburras and Hockeyroos squads. 

Morgan Mathison has been named in the Youth Olympics Qualifier squad.

The 2018 Youth Olympic Games will take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in October, with the hockey tournament being played in the Hockey 5’s format.
