Gold Coast Hockey Association in conjunction with Hockey Queensland has appointed Brent Livermore to the recently advertised coach position.

Brent's primary role in the short term will be to work with all players that have been named in state teams across both genders from all state titles this year from the Under 13 age group through to premier league women and open men. In addition to this Brent will commence working with the associations representative teams and coaches of a Thursday evening in the lead up to their state titles.

A talent identification program will be developed overtime to target a larger group of players with a vision to elevate them to state level.

Together with Brent a great deal of planning will be done for the long term to ensure that all Gold Coast juniors have clear pathways to be developed in order to  reach their potential and aspirations.
