The Gold Coast men had a fine Open championships with 4 wins and no losses in their round games to finish top of their pool.  After a nail biting semi final decided by strokes against Maryborough the men came up against a red hot Townsville in the final.  The Gold Coast was on the scoreboard first, but had to work hard to keep Townsville out.  As the team had displayed all championships they never gave up and fought hard till the final whistle eventually going down 4-1.

  Great things are expected from this team in the future with many outstanding performances from both senior and junior members.  Stay tuned in 2009!!
