Masters Registration Form

Masters who are interested in playing again on Monday nights will need to advise GCHA who will be convenor of this competition.  The season start date is March 17 and the Masters can start the following Monday March 19, so please email admin@goldcoasthockey.com with contact details and name of Masters Convenor.  

       

NOTE:   It is imperative that any player, who is not registered with a Club, MUST register with GCH through Sporting Pulse.  Cost $140 needs to be paid direct to GCH at the office.   Players need to be registered before they take the field on Monday night.  If they are not registered before they play, and someone gets hurt they will not be covered by insurance. Please explain to the player that is registering with GCH that when they go into the link the must go to the 3rd option (I am registering to this club for the first time) It is only for those who are not playing on weekends with their clubs.

 

 

3. Fees are as per initially indicated, at $8 per game.  This was to allow for a drink for the umpires and a possible purchase of trophies and or bar-b-que at the end of the comp.  Every player will pay the $8 regardless of who they are registered with.

 

4. The money is to be collected by a team representative and placed in an envelope. I will distribute envelopes on Monday night; envelopes are then to be handed to GCH.  Confirmation of who the GCH representative will be will also be confirmed on Monday night.

 

I am aware that on the first night we may experience some initial problems in some form, but after this it should all fall into place. We need to be very flexible regarding our teams and need to just do what we did last year.

Format for 2011 to be presented at the GCHA Competitions Meeting on Wednesday 23rd February.
 
 
TEAMS:            Can be Club based or team named
 
AGE:                 35+ but each team to have limited numbers of 35 – 40 years of age. (maximum of 3 / 4 per team)
 
COSTS:            Registration $140.00 for non Club members ( includes insurance and GCHA Admin fee.) Those who are affiliated with a Club pays no   registration.  Each player to pay $ 150.00 for season games (21 weeks competition) if paid on or before start of competition, weekly $8.00 = $ 168.00 . Monies collected by Team Delegate. Envelopes will be provided.
 
SEASON:           Commence 21st March with Grand Final Monday 12th September 2011 ( 20 weeks of competition with 2 rounds of finals)
 
UMPIRES:          Each team to supply an umpire, and the umpire to receive a free drink for each duty.
 
COMPETITION:
                        Games to 25 x 25min games starting either 6.15pm, 7.15pm & 8.15pm or 6.30pm etc. Game Cards to be filled in each week. Scores posted on website and on notice board.
                       
 
GRAND FINALS:
                        Monies left over will go into (a) trophies or (b) supplying a free grand final night with bar – b – que and drinks over the bar.
